Travis brings 19 years of hands-on experience in the horizontal directional drilling (HDD) industry. Starting as a laborer and working his way up through every role in the field, he has become a highly respected operations manager known for tackling tough drilling conditions and leading successful crews. His deep understanding of HDD processes, equipment, and field logistics allows him to manage day-to-day operations with precision and efficiency. As co-founder of Sota Drilling Company, Travis is dedicated to building a dependable team and ensuring every job is completed safely, on time, and to the highest standard.

Co-Founder & Project Manager
With over 13 years of experience in the horizontal directional drilling (HDD) industry, Jake brings a strong background in project management/estimating, field operations, and client relations. He began his career as a field engineer and advanced through the ranks to become a senior project manager, leading complex utility and infrastructure projects across the Midwest. Jake holds a degree in Marketing and Business Administration, blending technical expertise with a strategic business mindset. As co-founder of Sota Drilling Company, he oversees project planning, client communication, and overall business operations—committed to delivering efficient, high-quality results for every project.
